As all you know “The Bell Street Chapel Concert Series" has been a successful, wonderful, but difficult journey for the last five years. The initial idea behind the series was to raise some extra funds for the church, as well as to expose our beautiful space and generously donated grand piano. As time went by it became clear that all efforts behind this goal were not sufficient enough to continue the series in a same fashion. This is why a decision was made to take a "year off" and find a practical solution to better advertising, more funding to better pay performers, and possible creation of a committee which will oversee all organizational problems, including a very serious issue with the inability to move the piano during the concerts because of fire safety issues.

I can proudly say that the music which was heard over these years was exceptional in the quality and professionalism of performers - many of them were world class musicians.

Very special thanks to all volunteers who helped to sell tickets, snacks and refreshments. Especially to Thea Ernest, who dedicated many hours designing and printing programs and flyers, as well as handling the mailing and advertising. I hope that this year will help us to reorganize and continue the Concert Series in the future.
